Q- Question
Y: Yuki's Answer
M: Miki's Answer

Q: From being hailed as a “love classic”, is there anything you have learned from the drama?
M: Having somebody to love is a really fantastic thing!
Y: You mean the concept of “love”?
M: I think it is a dream of girls all over the world to have the luck to experience such beautiful love. Right?
Y:laughs) What do you mean “right?”, you said it is every girl’s dream. I am not a girl.
M: Oh right right, sorry.
Y: For me, I learned more from Kotoko rather than Irie-kun. When I read the comic, I was impressed by Kotoko’s willpower. That is what I learned from the drama---never giving up.
M: So do I, I also dream of being a girl like Kotoko.
Y: Em, to be honest, I think you are like Kotoko to a great extent.
M: Ah, really?

Q:  Please tell which scenes of each other impressed you most.
M: In episode 16, before the marriage ceremony, the scene with Irie-kun and Kin-chan.  In the plot, I (Kotoko) have never seen that expression on Irie-kun before. I guess it is the conversation between two men. Is it the friendship between two young men? I am not sure. I think it is a subtle relationship. It is interesting to see that.
Y:There are many interesting scenes in the drama, but not knowing the reason, the scene where Kotoko eats sausages with fork left the deepest impression on me. Kotoko eats really a lot! (laugh)
M: I did eat a lot sausage .But it is also difficult to do that scene, (Yuki laughs) sometimes I needed to fork one (sausage) and sometimes I needed to fork four or five. If I forked too many, it is difficult for me to eat them all!
Y: I am at the filming spot too, so I was impressed by the amount you have eaten.(laughs)
M: Before making this scene, I ate Onigiri (a kind of traditional Japanese food).
Y: Ah~
M:So the impression on me was that I was very full!
both laughed
Y: You worked hard
M: Thats right.

Q: Talk about your favorite “kiss” scene.
Y: For me, it is the “Serves you right” kiss. It was the first time we have kissed, there are also many fans who loved that kiss best. I read the scene in the comic many times, many audience liked it so I am also in favor in it too.
M:I also liked the first kiss, but my favorite was the kiss in the last episode (at the marriage ceremony). Kotoko kissed Naoki first, so I like it best.
Y: She doesn’t know when to close her eyes.
M: I don’t know.
Y: She asked me “When should I close my eyes, Furu pon?”
M: Yes, I wondered how to kiss all the time.
Y:I whispered “Then you don’t need to close eyes, you can narrow your eyes”(laughs)
M: I’ll study from now on.
(Yuki laughs)

Q: The most impressive dialogue is …
M: ”Serves you right”(on episode 16 when they kissed at the marriage ceremony)
Y:Yes ,so do I
M: I said Irie-kun’s words in the end. It was fun.
Y: I like the words”あの。。。””あれ。。。(Ano A-re) (In English, it is similar like “ummm” (means you are thinking what to say later))
M: I have a dialogue from Irie-kun that I liked. Can I say it? In the last episode, they kissed in the rain.”It is the second time.” ”It is the third time.” ”That is enough , you don’t have to count it.”
Y:  I was also about to mention that.
M: Ah! Sorry! Sorry! I’m really sorry!
Y: Yes, I liked it too.
M: That’s great.

Q: What the other roles from Itakiss do you want to play?
Y:Kin-chan
M:: Jinko or Satomi, anyone from the two.
Y: Which one do you like more?
M: Anyone is ok. They can be very sentimental characters. Though Kotoko can also be sentimental. There was a scene in a school with Irie kun with the two of them. The two individuals acting, I really liked that scene.
(Staff: They do a lot of improvisations)
Y: There are more improvisations. When I had to say Jinko and Satomi’s names wrong, they were complaining saying “backwards! backwards!” (meaning it’s the other person’s name)
M: (laughs) I thought it was very interesting.

(Q: Why does Furukawa-san want to play the role of Kin-chan?)
Y: Yah~ because I think his character is totally opposite to Irie-kun’s. I think it is really hard to play the role without a lot of improvisational performance. So I think Yamada-kun is very excellent. Even though I wanna play the role of Kin-chan, I’m still not confident. If the acting’s not good, then the role cannot be played.
(Staff: Yamada-san seems to have cried after hearing that)
M: He will be happy to hear that.

Q: Do Furukawa-san give some advice to Honoka-san who is currently learning English?
M:: Yeah, I often ask him how to learn English.
Y: And how do I answer that?
M: You said I should just go aboard and find a foreign boyfriend.
Y: Bingo!
M: Yes, you can only provide opinions like this.
Y: Just go there (M: Just go there, neh?)  really, spend a year abroad, your English will be better.
M: Can I communicate with my foreign boyfriend?
Y: You can’t communicate with him in English so you try your best to learn English, that’s very effective.
M: Ah right, right. So I’ll do my best?
Y: Yeah, do your best.
M: I’ll work hard.

Q: The most impressive filming locations is…
Y: For me, it is Ginza. We filmed the scene which Naoki held Kotoko’s  hands and they escaped together, we acted many times. I have never been there before and there are a lot of people watching us filming so I am very impressed by Ginza
M: I also like that place where there are many trees and I had very happy memory there. But I like the Tokyo tower best where we filmed the opening.
Y: I also like Tokyo tower.
M: It is also was the place we started our filming.

Q: Have you ever been to the Tokyo Tower before?
Both: No..
Y: Eh…(to miki ) have you not gone there during a school field trip?
M: No, and I have only gone in a field trip once.
Y: Where did you go?
M: Nikko. (A Japanese city)
Y: Where?
M: Nikko. I visited old residence there when I was in Grade 6, primary school.
Y: Mine (means his field trip) was in Disney World (Disneyland)
*Both laughs
M: Must’ve been nice huh? Must’ve been nice. I also want to go there.

(Q: Which Disneyland?)
Y: In Florida.
(Q: When you were in Canada?)
Y: When I was in high school in New York.
M:I also want to go there.

(That’s the end of the translation)

Traditionally, an onigiri is filled with pickled ume (umeboshi), salted salmon, katsuobushi, kombu, tarako, or any other salty or sour ingredient as a natural preservative.Because of the popularity of onigiri in Japan, most convenience stores stock their onigiri with various fillings and flavors. There are even specialized shops which only sell onigiri to take out.(from wiki)

From Micah:
I was having a 멘붕 just by translating this so please bear with some inaccuracy or confusing words. The missing parts were not translated bc we got this from someone who translated it into Chinese & some parts were not written/translated there so Flora couldn’t really translate it too. I translated all parts that was missing but there are still some which I couldn’t translate anymore bc I can’t understand (or too lazy to try to understand lol I’m sorry) We tried our best~ ^^  Don’t forget to thank Flora, guys!
